Whether someone is young or old, definitley give regard to each one’s advice, because to reject any-one’s advice means to reject your own self. Therefore, even if you want to cut someone short from speaking waste, first give that one regard and respect and then give correction. This is also an art. When I will fill myself with the habit of giving regard, I will receive regard from the whole world. Share your comments

Not demanding respect !

Spotlight Values : May 2, 2011 6:05 pm : Respect

If people pick up that if we are even slightly in need of respect they will usually turn away from us completely. This is because the need to be respected indicates a gap somewhere in our sense of self – and most people are so busy trying to fill their own gaps, they get annoyed at the prospect of having to fill someone else’s. Today, I will totally pay attention on not having any desire of gaining respect from others. It is definitely not something I can demand from others. The very act of trying to get respect from others proves you to be unworthy of it. Share your comments
